Recognition highlights Linical’s commitment to quality, operational excellence, and patient-focused clinical development worldwide

Osaka, Japan (October 20, 2026, 2025)

Linical has been named a finalist for Best Contract Research Organization – Full Service Providers at the 2026 Scrip Awards, recognizing the company’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality clinical development services and measurable results for pharmaceutical and biotechnology sponsors around the world.

The Citeline Scrip Awards recognize outstanding achievements across the global biopharmaceutical industry, celebrating the organizations and individuals contributing to advances in drug development and improving patient outcomes.

For Linical, the finalist recognition is a testament to the expertise and dedication of its global teams and the long-standing partnerships it has built with sponsors. Founded in Japan in 2005 and now operating in more than 30 countries across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas, Linical combines full-service clinical development capabilities with deep regional expertise and the agility, accountability, and personalized approach of a mid-sized CRO.

“Being named a finalist for Best Contract Research Organization – Full Service Providers is an incredible recognition of the people who make our work possible every day,” said Clareece West, President of Linical. “Our teams are committed to delivering exceptional quality and meaningful results for our sponsors, but ultimately, the work we do is about patients. Every successful enrollment, every milestone achieved, and every quality metric we maintain contributes to helping innovative therapies reach the people who need them. We are proud to have that commitment recognized by the Scrip Awards.”

Delivering Measurable Results for Sponsors

Linical’s finalist recognition reflects a track record of operational excellence and long-term sponsor partnerships. Client retention exceeds 85%, with several sponsor relationships spanning more than 18 years. The company has also completed more than 45 regulatory inspections and more than 100 client audits since 2020 without a single critical finding or regulatory warning letter, demonstrating its commitment to quality, compliance, and patient safety.

The company’s approach is also reflected in measurable study outcomes.

In a recent vaccine study, Linical developed a targeted recruitment strategy that assigned sites to specific age cohorts and incorporated proactive pre-screening and enrollment forecasting. The approach enabled the team to enroll more than 1,000 participants in just nine days, while an electronic patient diary and real-time compliance monitoring contributed to an exceptional 99.7% diary completion rate.

In another study, a sponsor increased the enrollment target by 100 patients midway through a migraine trial. Linical rapidly reactivated high-performing sites and leveraged established recruitment networks to enroll 647 patients while maintaining the original study timeline. Through continuous data cleaning and proactive study management, database lock was achieved just three weeks after the final patient visit—well ahead of the approximately eight-week industry benchmark.

“These results demonstrate what we mean when we talk about delivering with agility and precision,” said West. “We bring together experienced people, local expertise, innovative recruitment strategies, and technology-enabled oversight to solve challenges proactively and keep studies moving forward. That consistency is what allows us to build trusted, long-term relationships with our sponsors.”

A Commitment That Ultimately Serves Patients

While operational performance and quality are critical measures of success, Linical’s focus extends beyond study metrics. Through its global footprint and patient-centric approach, the company works to improve access to clinical research and support more representative study populations.

Linical supports sponsors with patient-focused recruitment strategies, including targeted approaches for older adults and the development and implementation of Race and Ethnicity Diversity Plans for Phase III trials. In rare disease programs, teams work with investigators, treatment centers, and referral networks to expand pathways to patients who may otherwise have limited access to clinical research.

The company is also advancing the responsible use of artificial intelligence and real-world data to improve clinical trial planning and execution. Its AI Governance Framework ensures AI-enabled solutions are evaluated for regulatory compliance, data integrity, patient privacy, and quality, while AI and advanced analytics are used to support feasibility, recruitment oversight, operational decision-making, and study execution.

At the heart of these efforts is a simple objective: helping sponsors bring innovative therapies to patients faster without compromising quality or patient safety.

“Being a finalist is an honor, but what matters most is what this recognition represents,” West added. “It reflects the trust our sponsors place in us, the dedication of our employees, and our shared responsibility to the patients who ultimately benefit from the therapies we help develop.”
